Luke 1:45
Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her!

The Promises

Through the Bible as the authoritative Word of God, we are given by God many divine promises that as believers we are invited to claim as our own in order to make real in our lives all the wonderful blessings that God wishes to bestow upon us by His lavish grace. Please refer to Ephesians 1:7-8.

The claiming of the promises in a spirit of humble gratitude is an integral part of the life of the Christian believer. Always remember that God blesses us so that we can experience victorious Christianity in our lives. Integral to that victory is that we are blessed to bless others also.

Identify the promises that you need to claim for your life, pray and mediate upon them and allow them to form an inner picture deep within your mind and spirit. By keeping that vision in front of you daily, your faith will be released for the promises to be fulfilled.

Focusing on the promises will change the images inside of you, images of hope that will fuel the faith within you. Remember that your visualisation in the name of Jesus brings the Kingdom of God to be a reality for you during this earthly life and into eternity. Change comes about in the life of the Christian believer through faith making manifest the hope within your own heart.

God is so gracious in giving to us these promises. Truly, the promises are touched by the divine hand of God, so internally focusing inside of you on their reality harnesses the power and majesty of God and their manifestation in your life. To focus on the promises allows the divine seed to germinate from deep within the fertile soil of your perfectly-renewed spirit to inspire and flourish within your life.

So, yes, the Bible is, indeed, a promise box, with promises on every page if you look carefully. Here are just a few of our favourite promises that we hope will inspire and uplift you, too. Add to the list some of your own best-loved promises and claim them as your own.

All of these Bible quotes are from the Revised Standard Version.
